Name change!
My blog was called ‘hakkanotogame’, but I forgot to pay for the domain renewal, so it’s gone!

Time for a refresh..
Introducing my new blog name ‘Sode No Shirayuki’, in Kanji ‘袖白’.
My blog names come from the manga/anime ‘Bleach’.
Hakka no Togame was the name of the bankai form of Rukia’s Zanpakuto. In Kanji it is ‘白霞罸’. It translates to something like ‘censure of the white haze’.
In Bleach the main charqacters are ‘shinigami’ or ‘soul reapers’. They have weapons called Zanpakutō (斬魄刀), the weapons themselves are all unique and are kind of like sentient beings.
The ‘bankai’ is a kind of ‘ultimate’ or ‘final’ form.
While that is the special form name, the zanpakuto as a sentient being has it’s own name. Rukia’s zanpakuto is called ‘Sode No Shirayuki (袖白)’. It translates to something like ‘sleeved white snow”.
Rukia’s zanpakuto is often referred to as the most beautiful. Her special abilities take the form of dances. Dance (舞え/mae) is the zanpakuto’s shikai command.
The animations for Rukia and her Zanpakuto are awesome. All the abilities are based around cold, snow and ice. I always love cold, snow and ice in anime more than fire.
